Founder

Rahlik (Ed) is our founder. Since he can remember he’s always been interested in bettering the world around him but he didn’t know quite how. Due to stress and general life pressures, he looked for a way of relief, and that came through yoga. After years of stuttering having almost vanished, he began to embrace the nervous system healing effects of yoga. Through his own embodiment he began offering yoga to his community with goals of joining a worldwide network of health practitioners. This is where Tru Clarity was bourne

Tru Clarity

Tru Clarity was created to foster a network of safe spaces that people who need it most, can access when they need. Food justice led us to get involved with local farmers, providing fresh organic food grown on our farm and community garden locations to underserved residents of Southeast DC, Capitol Heights, Baltimore city, and PG County. We have given out more than 10,000 lbs of food since we first started through donation and prepared meals. Through more conferences and seminars, Tru Clarity also realized how we could get involved with Housing Justice as well. This led to attending a multitude of natural building workshops and completing different projects to gain the skill of natural construction.

We have attended over 20 workshops on Regenerative Agriculture and Natural Building. We have completed various projects for other organizations and have learned about the way these different aspects can work together for a holistic community

Our first retreat was in 2021, sparking a plethora more of healing workshops, community activism, yoga retreats, nature excursions, and hundreds of positive reviews that led us to decide that it was time to expand

In October of 2024 we gained 501c3 status to be recognized as an official Non Profit. We are now in Phase 1 of our first EcoVillage Center in the DMV. This location will serve as a safe haven and educational platform for those near and far. The DMV will have a safe and beautiful space to retreat
